Dinner for one

It was hard to get good pics of the restaurant patrons of Sea Castle. It was even harder to get in and out of this scene without being spotted. Again, there was so MUCH rich detail. Look at the blue overhead "thing", the table ware, the art piece next to the window. Stunning! Let's see what's for dinner. "HEY, PAW, WHAT'S FER SUPPER!??"

  1. WOW!! Every time I rode horizons the ride used to stop right there at that scene. At least for me it happened about 10 - 20 times through about the 50 times I road it through the years. I had multiple chances to just sit there at that scene looking in the window, wishing I could just get out and go inside the restaurant and you guys did it!!

  2. Wow. Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but you couldn't even see that blue overhang from the ride itself, right? Same with his chair, I think. Regardless, I do think these details, even if only seen from the ride unconsciously in a reflection, add to the "reality" and immersiveness of the experience.

I always wanted that sculpture thing in my house. I wonder if they were custom-made or if they were actually sold off-the-shelf somewhere?

Anyway, this blog is truly incredible. Thank you so much for posting these pictures. I'm a little jealous because I wish my friends and I had done what you did, but mostly just glad that somebody documented all of this stuff and is making it publicly available.

Many thanks from a huge Horizons and EPCOT fan!
