The Little Mermaid

Hey it's Ariel! Even better, it's Spike Tripper but he's just as cute. Spike was interested in seeing the ocean floor so we took him there. Watch out for those tube worms!

As you see it was hard to quickly navigate the rock work and it was dark.

This vacuum cleaner thing works it's way across the bottom collecting little loaves of....something. Seaweed? It doesn't look like kelp but it must be important.

When I was kid we had a thing that looked like that in our pool. It did a great job of clearing our swimming space of loaves of seaweed.

Spike Tripper

Remember our old pal Spike? Well, on November 27th his lovely wife gave birth to their son Kieran Edward Tripper! The child's first name, Futureprobe Edward Tripper, would have sounded weird in school so they changed it. Other name ideas included Century Three Tripper, Hoot Gibson Tripper and Abraham Lincoln.

Congratulations old pal!

Spike Tripper

Here's my old pal Spike Tripper! He came along on a few adventures back in the day. In this pic he's clearly showing farm girl HOW to operate the weather scan monitor.

Spike is a handsome cuss but the farm girl looks out of wack in this shot. There's a gap on her neck and she looks frail. maybe she had a cold that day.
