Fresh Audio

Oh boy audio fans! I have two lovely clips for you in honor of it being Wednesday! It's also national Fiji Merman Day in, where else, Norway!

These two clips were obtained using a process developed by Concourse Six Laboratories in which one leaves an audio recording device in a Disney ride and returns later to retrieve it. You therefore get several looping full segments and one hell of an idea of the atmosphere in that portion of the ride. The proper term used to describe this maneuver is "Drop Off".

This is when we did a drop off in the "Choose your Tomorrow" star field room.

Of course in the Space scene with all of the different sounds.

More to come. Enjoy!

First Audio Clips

We finally got around to capturing our audio collection!

Keep in mind that these are live recordings. There are great studio tracks out there but these are unique in that you'll get the feeling of being in the ride at a certain place.

1998 is long gone so close your eyes and imagine you're inside Horizons.

This first batch contains the three tracks from the "Travel Posters" which were on your left just before you entered the load area.

Thanks again to the boys at Cartoon Basement for hosting these. Much more to come!

A couple more

A moonshine still!!!! Well, that's what it looks like. The WED Smelitzer in all it's glory.
If this was "Citrus Blossom" the cannon in Spaceship Earth must have been "Bacon".

Re: Audio

HAHA! Ok ok. You guys and gals want audio. Here's what we'll do. I'll capture it all in high quality and provide a link so you can download the mp3. Cool?

Most of the time we'd take the recorder and leave it in a scene until it ran out of tape. We'd come back later and put it somewhere else while we were taking pictures.

Oh! One time were goofing around in the boyfriend/girlfriend projector room and we recorded entire loops of their conversations on two different tracks!

Cool. After I'm done moving I'll get on it.
