Newly Captured Audio

Hey everybody! Chief and I have a Sound Cloud page where you'll be assaulted with hours of audio that we recorded in Horizons etc. Here's the latest:

This is a big one. We were into capturing long loops of various scenes by dropping our tape recorder off on the ground under the ride vehicles. We'd come back later and retrieve it. This clip, for example, would be like what you would hear if you fell out of the ride vehicle and broke both your legs. You'd pretty much lay there listening to this loop until you bled out and went to Jesus.

Things to listen for in this clip:

19:07 We retrieve the recorder

we then ride to the "Choose Your Tomorrow" Star Field and leave the recorder again until it runs out.

Under the Sea

Here's a real treat, folks. Chief and I loved these things! They're the "water ripple" projectors that cast those lovely patterns under the sea. The projector in the foreground is angled down, the farther is up a few degrees. The way the ripples crossed over each other was pure magic.

I think these were in the transition from sea to space. LOOK at all of that cool stuff! Hey! There's a disk on the floor!

Sweet! The disks would rotate in front of the projector lens.

That pattern is great. The disks were heavy and probably 1/2 think. Maybe 3/4. Maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Damn I miss that ride.

I just talked to, his Holiness, Bishop Kyle of Centauri . He's going to write down some thoughts on Horizons to share with the rest of us. This gets me thinking so stick with me here 'cause the PBR is taking effect.

Someday all of us Horizons fans will be dead. There will be no one alive who actually experienced this amazing piece of future optimism. Chief and I will be in Hell, with a few of you, and the world will be void of any single person that can pass on what it was really like.

Blogspot will probably be around OR Islamic Scholars, Jewish Scholars, the Vatican, Universities world wide, or some poor "future dork" in his mom's basement will keep Mesa Verde Times on record well into the future.

So........if this blog is to serve as a time capsule for Horizons, we need your input. You found us for a reason so let's get down to the business of spilling your memories and thoughts for future generations.
