Long Lost Mesa Verde Times Part One

The strangest thing that ever happened came a couple of weeks ago when I went over to Chief's moms house to pick up some more of his belongings that she thought I'd like. She's always right I love anything that reminds me of my old friend. This time was a bit different. She gave me a plastic box with a bunch of Paul F. Anderson cassette tapes and a pack of photos mixed in with tons of other stuff.

After a week or so I got around to the plastic box. I was surprised to see that the photo package had Horizons pics that weren't in the huge photo album with all of his other Horizons stuff. What were these? Extras? You can't imagine how surprised I was when I found that I had never seen most of these pictures before!! Why? We gave each other copies of every single roll of film we took.

Newly Captured Audio

Hey everybody! Chief and I have a Sound Cloud page where you'll be assaulted with hours of audio that we recorded in Horizons etc. Here's the latest:

http://soundcloud.com/hoot-and-chief/horizons-space-drop

This is a big one. We were into capturing long loops of various scenes by dropping our tape recorder off on the ground under the ride vehicles. We'd come back later and retrieve it. This clip, for example, would be like what you would hear if you fell out of the ride vehicle and broke both your legs. You'd pretty much lay there listening to this loop until you bled out and went to Jesus.

Things to listen for in this clip:

00:00 we run our mouths about where to leave the recorder.
01:08 Chief lays it on the ground
08:29 Breakdown spiel
19:07 We retrieve the recorder

we then ride to the "Choose Your Tomorrow" Star Field and leave the recorder again until it runs out.

Spam

I guess we've reached the point where our blog is popular enough to attract spammers from all corners of the globe! That's really saying something for sure.

I'll try to do a better job of deleting these comments even though I like it when Chinese people tell us that God loves us. I'm not into the selling of handbags as much.

Just don't click on anything Chinese and you'll be fine.

Details- Sub Repair-2010-part one

Happy New Year, folks! We've made it to 2010 without getting spanked:) The holidays are over. I've gained 112 pounds, and drank enough to receive thank you cards from three major breweries.

I'd like to start the year off with some more amazing detail shots in the Sub Repair Bay. We've all done our fair share of Beach Boy Bashing. We've been pretty harsh and now I feel bad. Actually I'm crying.

The Sub Repair Bay was a thing of beauty and a place of many details. Beach Boy had it good with his chicky baby on the big screen, a small computer with sub repair reference (the sub rotated in wireframe) and tons of cool tools!

oooohhh..... Look at her. There aren't enough pictures of her. Did you ever notice she's facing the wrong way in that video? She would have been facing the ride vehicles not her boyfriend! She was talking to......us, men!

The sub repair info on the little monitor is cool but that kid must have had amazing eyesight to see it from where he was sitting. The left side is either on fire or the lights got fruity with my camera.

These cool little props we're on the ledge to the right of the computer. Amazing amazing amazing details in our beloved Horizons.
