Just noticed, all these years later, that the Dad appears to be wearing a wedding band. The typical viewer might catch a quick glimpse of his right hand from a normal viewing angle, but certainly not his left hand. Amazing. Simply Amazing amount of detail.
Or maybe it's a gap where he's tried to chew off his own finger. Mom has no feet so who knows.
