More catwalk..


Ever wonder what was at the top of that staircase? It ended right there and had a ladder that was the first access to the catwalk. First stop was the mini daughter that was posted earlier.

  5. Reviewing this blog years later, since I first discovered it back in 2009. Anyway, yes, yes I did often wonder what was at the top of those stairs. It was great to imagine what it might look like. Then I discovered the Strutin Residence designed by Brutalist architect Paul Rudolph, 1975. It is exactly the sort of reference material Imagineers might have been looking at when designing this pavilion. Strutin owned, get this, a lucite furniture company in NYC. Not kidding at all.
