70th "Cool Person's" link

I hate to call the fans of Mesa Verde Times "followers" so I named your catagory "The last of the cool people". Aren't we? Aren't we the last? Hell yes we are.

Anyway, 70th cool person M S, sent me this link:

I don't know about you but I can't live without one of each! They remind me of something you would have seen at the Centorium in 1984 and I will gloriously adorn my Mid-life body with each and every design.

The world needs more of this kind of work. Thanks M S!

  1. Saw this awhile back. Nice to see they are still selling them. BTW, who the Hell is MS? Am I just missing something here?

  2. I’ve often wondered how they have gotten around copyright issues with this. None the less it’s comforting to know there is a band of Horizons loving geek cool in existence all over the nation,

  3. I'm going to get some of those shirts and wear them to WDW when I go in January. It'll be interesting to see if I get any comments from anyone there.

  4. I have a Horizons memorial hat that I always wear to EPCOT Center and have gotten more than one look from Mission:Death cast members like I am crazy. Does anyone know what actual HORIZONS merchandise was sold, if any? I'd love to know.

  5. remember that fitted Ts look better on almost everyone than "classic" fit but order at least one size up. ;)

  7. @Gil: I saw that, isn't it cool? With the technology that exists today, I wonder how hard it would be to create a true-to-life CGI Horizons ride film and show it on a large screen positioned in front of the ride vehicle. It'd be a pretty cool way to recreate the Horizons experience. For a really cool effect, you could do the film in stereoscopic 3D. I've always thought that something like this would be a great way for Disney to bring back old rides without actually going to the expense of reconstructing them.

  8. These shirts are great! I am getting an "Old School" EPCOT ringer for my trip to WDW at the end of September.

  9. Oh my god! I can't believe the shirt I made got posted here! I feel so honored. I was just as surprised that the copyright gods didn't descend on me like I thought they would but, thankfully all is well. My boyfriend kept telling me to send you a link to my shirts, but it just didn't feel right for some reason. I guess word of mouth is even better! I'm glad that you like it.
